Buy it you will love it - I dyed my outside concrete with water based dye and sealed with this

5 Star ReviewBuy it you will love it - I dyed my outside concrete with water based dye and sealed with this. Amazing results as all seem to agree. Simple to use, cut the border with paint brush and rolled the rest with 3/8 nap roller. It dries fast and it is easy to over apply. I did one coat in a 12/ 10 area in 20 minutes.

Smell is very strong so I used painter mask and it helped. It looked great with one coat but did another a couple hours later to make sure it was all covered. Definately go as thin as you can with the coats and don't worry about the look until you let it dry , if you do it correctly you will be very happy. I also have cut flagstone on front of my house and the sun and salt air has completely faded the color. I tested an area and it also did a very good job of making these look "fresh". I had previously tried many others and this is the first that actually worked.

I have used so many waterbased sealers in past and they look OK but this is so much richer and enhanced the concrete color I applied a day earlier. I also called the customer service with a question and they are very helpful . Before and after photo, I did stain concrete prior to the sealer

Must have with the acid staining

5 Star ReviewMust have with the acid staining - Perfect amount of sheen but not slippery. Used this around our pool and patio after the paired staining. I was worried it would be too slick but two coats brought the color out perfectly and still was safe and not slick. Looks GREAT!!!

Don't apply using a plastic cup!

5 Star ReviewDon't apply using a plastic cup! - Works great! It does have a strong odor and shouldn't be applied using a plastic solo cup. I used one to dip a paint brush into and it ended up eating right through it within about 10 min or so. Overall I'm very pleased with the product and would buy it again! ( I attached a photo of my concrete sink that it was used on)

Good but slick when wet!

Good but slick when wet! - Went on clean and clear. First coat had lines. Second coat I used more and went a little thicker which came out awesome. Only problem is my patio is VERY slick when wet. My kids have fallen several times. So I've had to purchase more sealer for a 3rd coat and add gator grip to hopefully solve the problem.

Update- Gator grip worked amazing. Must have if your porch gets slippery after using.

Perfect "Wet Look" sealer for my basement acid stained concrete floor (EXTREME SMELL)

5 Star ReviewPerfect "Wet Look" sealer for my basement acid stained concrete floor (EXTREME SMELL) - I LOVE the way this stuff made my acid stained concrete floor look. Wow, what a difference! I love the true "Wet Look." It is getting more and more difficult to find a truly good "Wet Look" sealer because of the laws restricting certain solvent based sealers. I've used Eagle Sealer EGCC5 Clear Gloss Coat (worked really good for me on my outside porch and patio), but could no longer get it in my state. Ordered SuperSeal 2000 and it is every bit as good. I used 2 gallons to cover 600 sqft basement floor with 2 coats, with a tiny bit left over. Love the look!

However, THIS STUFF SMELLS! I had a respirator on, several windows open, and made the rest of my family leave the house for hours during and after the application. Smell was extremely strong for about 4-6 hours after first application. Smell was not as strong with 2nd coat (maybe I was more used to it?) I could smell it for about 3 days afterwards, with every day the smell being less and less. I know this product is not "ideal" for indoor use, by my options were limited for a true "Wet Look." Would definitely recommend this product, just plan the application around a time when you can leave the house for 4-6 hours to let it air out. Then just deal with the slight smell for another 3-4 days.

UPDATE** March 29 2016 - Its only been a few weeks, but I'm starting to see some clouding appear on our concrete floor. I know this could be a factor of not removing the stain well enough before applying the sealer, but I did mop the floor for days and days. We also have a floor wax over the seal that was extremely shiny to begin with. The floor wax is starting to dull as well. Makes me nervous we didn't clean it well enough before sealing it. Still love the floor, but am grateful for the 2 large rugs that cover the worst of the clouding.

sed to protect a stained box store patio.

5 Star ReviewUsed to protect a stained box store patio. Had stained a dark walnut color and after the SuperSeal the color was much darker which was OK. Used Gator Grip in the SuperSeal to protect our pups and us from slickness. When it works as its supposed to who can ask for more.

Five stars!! Always beautiful results. I use Stamp-Tek™ Liquid Release

5 Star ReviewFive stars!! Always beautiful results. I use Stamp-Tek™ Liquid Release on my stamps mats to get a clean release, I never have any problems with the concrete sticking to the mats resulting in a beautiful stamp impression!

A self-leveling" custom formulated, polymer modified, cementitious "micro-topping" is what professional's use.

A self-leveling" custom formulated, polymer modified, cementitious "micro-topping" is what professional's use to achieve a dense smooth surface (without trowel marks such as the ones that can be seen on your photo). This material is not stocked in places like Lowes, Home Depot, Builders Square, etc. ...but, "micro-toppings" can be ordered from several different manufacturers or can be acquired (shipped or picked up) from local/regional decorative concrete material supply houses (their specifications/technical data sheets will state that they are acceptable for use as a wear surface topping that can be stained, dyed, integrally colored, etc.; in other words for "self-leveling micro-toppings that specifically state they can be used for decorative concrete flooring/resurfacing purposes" ... some of which are: Ardex STD, Mapei Ultratop, Concrete Coatings Micro-Tek, and Duraamen's Param (among other's).

This product worked better than expected to repair small defects in the concrete floor my company poured

5 Star ReviewThis product worked better than expected to repair small defects in the concrete floor my company poured for an acid stained finish in a new church. I would definitely purchase this product for future repairs.
